Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree

So as we drove into the driveway I asked Drew to look at the blossoms on the trees, I told him they were so pretty. He looked at them and said they look like popcorn! Then I told him that's where we get the song "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree". The weather here is beautiful and sunny. It's going to be 72 Degrees here on Friday and we are ready for spring!

And Drew got his hair cut today. He was very good untill the man started using the clippers. I am sure Kjell is going to get mad at me because it's so short but I think he looks cute and now he won't need another one for the next 6 months!

Happy Valentine's Day

We went to dinner at Tahoe Joe's, my mom and my favorite place. My dad gave my mom one rose to represent that she is the only one for him...so romantic. Kjell had given me two earlier so I asked him who the other woman was. Jen watched my kids for me and that was a great gift, a kid free dinner.

Drew and Chaz in front of our door that they heart-attacked, they did such a good job! (Thanks Jenny that was a really cute idea).

Train Museum

Drew loves trains so on the way home from Tahoe my mom and I stopped in Sacramento at the California State Railroad Museum. We didn't get to ride on a train though so we're going to have to go back where the weather is warmer!

Drew wanted to play with this train.

Here we are at the Train Station.

Drew loved seeing all the trains but I think he got tired of all the pictures.

Grandma and Drew in the sleeping car. Drew wanted to climb up on the bed but you're not allowed.

This is the Dinning car.

Tahoe Trip

For our 5 year anniversary my Aunt offered us her house in Lake Tahoe for the weekend for only the cleaning fee. And then my grandma offered to pay the fee so Kjell and I could have a nice getaway. So how could we refuse? We ended up dragging my mom along so we could have a babysitter. It was nice to get dressed up and go out by ourselves.

Chaz wasn't sure how he felt about the snowman but he did not like sledding! It was a fun weekend!

Kjell and Drew built a snowman.

Drew is standing on the "beach". It's covered in snow and people were sleding down the hill.

Chaz loved climbing through the table and pulling himself up on the stair railing.

Chaz and I went shopping at Heavenly Valley.

Drew and Kjell made a place to sled in the back yard. The snow was piled to the roof of the house.

A Little Behind

I know I am a little behind but after reading Blogs of friends and family I decided to create one of my own. My intention is not to brag but to keep friends and family who live far away updated.
