T-Ball

Drew is playing t-ball this year with a city leauge for children 3 and 4. Here are some pics. from his game on Saturday. Don't let them fool you though unlike the soccor league he likes playing t-ball. Drew played first base. He's a natural! I think he stood there like this with his glove on his head for about 20 minutes. The kids behind him are actually on the base. When he wasn't looking alive for the next batter he stood there undoing the knots on his glove.
When the kids are up to bat they get 5 slow pitches and then if they can't hit them they pull out the tee. Drew had never been pitched to before but was able to get a hit off of the tee. Kjell and I had fun watching him and laughing with the other parents.

Becky's Visit

We always have so much fun when Becky and her girls come to visit. I don't know who was more sad to see them go, me or Drew. Today he has been so bored without his 2 live-in playmates I can't seem to keep him entertained. As Cate and Lauren were packing their stuff Drew decided he was going with them. He packed his backpack and even remembered to pack his toothbrush and toothpaste. Cate informed me that it was o.k. with her mom if it was o.k. with me. When I told them I didn't have money to pay for a plane ticket Lauren chimed in and said her mommy would pay for it. I said she didn't have the money either and Lauren said yes she does she has all of my daddy's money. I laughed at this and then thought of another excuse as to why Drew couldn't go. They have only been gone 24 hours and already I miss their company. I wish we could all live closer. Drew and I have already started talking about our trip to see them. Here are a few of the fun things we did these past 2 weeks.

Bag Tag

The Bag Tag
Here is what you do:1. First take a picture of your bag (purse, diaper bag, briefcase) the one you use daily.2. Then empty it out and take a picture of it's contents. No cleaning out first3. "Bag Tag" five people
I tag Stacy, Brooke, Krissy, Becky, and Lisa.

This is my "Bag". It's a diaper bag but I carry it everyday, even if I am not taking my kids. I just keep everything in it so unless I am "going out" I usually dont take the time to switch to a different bag. I have carried it everyday for almost a year now, it's starting to wear out but I still love it!
I had lots of receipts in my bag too but I put them in the back of my planner. It's funny how mom's carry a lot of the same things. My wipes container wasn't in my bag at the time as I left it in the car yesterday but it is usually there.

Happy Birthday Grandma Pedersen

Sunday was Kjell's Grandma's 89th Birthday! We went down to Bakersfield to Celebrate with her. Kjell's Aunt Suzie baked for 2 days and the desserts were amazing!

Papa was there and we had fun talking and playing with him but we sure missed Nana! Drew was very sad when he learned that Nana wasn't going to be there.

We also got to have dinner at Old Nana Kate's house with more family. We look forward to Kjell's whole family (hopefully) spending the 4th of July in Bakersfield celebrating Old Nana's 85th Birthday. (I think it's her 85th that's what Kjell said first but then said it might be her 82nd.)
